Full Size Reference Photos

This area has been set up to post pictures of full size boats, ships and yachts that could be used for reference if you are building a model of that type of craft or for just ideas of things to add to your own designs. They have been provided by club members, although any Youtube clips are attributed to the posters of the clip unless otherwise stated.

Paddle Steamer ' Concordia" on Lake Como.

I know of at least one model of a paddle steamer in the club and one other that was sneaked past the domestic management after the Doncaster show 2013, though I suspect he may have since been found out!

If you look at the middle picture you will see that someone has given the first mooring post a fair clout at some time.

Mayflower Class Classic Cruiser.

The following three pictures were taken at Gweek Quay on the Helford River in Cornwall this summer (2013). She's quite a new build and looks great – more about her here

For those of you that like the colour scheme Dulux manufacture a gloss paint call ‘Panache” I would say almost identical to the colour below the waterline.
