Evening sail on the 21st July 2014.
Nineteen members turned up for the evening sail, many staying for the full three hours and enjoying the warm summer evening with a light breeze for the yachts men and women. There was a lot of sailing and an equal amount of talking and a little eating with bacon butties, donuts and coffee provided by Joan and Maureen. I took a few pictures as the evening went on, probably not enough but there you go, enjoying myself again, but I will try harder next time!
Through out the evening we were joined by maybe around fourty to fifty members of the public, stopping to talk and out walking around the park and lakes and some even said that they had no idea that there was a model boating lake within the park and many that there was an active model boating club using the lake, perhaps we need to raise our profile... food for thought.
